now imagine a dslr with the size of a me super, and one of the newer pancake lenses....and the squared aps sensor....it would be every bit as small, and if marketed in both a semi pro spec'd model and a novice model...
covers the feild quite well if you ask me....
I'll buy that for $1200.00 or less!

I had to upgrade the modelling lights on my studio strobes, to use them with video.
If I had to start today, I'd go hotlights or cfl for studio and p-ttl flash units for location...

I bought some minced beef in the supermarket which had a label saying 'ideal in recipes' - no chance of using it as a chisel then...
I saw some peanuts with the phrase 'contains nuts' - nuts indeed

Just reading all the rubbish that came with my new Tamrom.
Quote "do not use the lens except for the purpose of photographing".
So other than a door stop or paperweight what else would you use it for?

yup... swans hate dogs.
here's a tip when hand feeding them. if they get a bit too aggressive, then tell them off! they don't like stern voices. if they continue, then a tap on the beak with a finger does the trick.
if you want a good chance at getting the water off the beak shot... feed them with pearl barley or seeds. tip some into the water near a bank, the swan will put its head under to get it as it sinks, you focus and wait for it to lift its head.
I recommend grasping firmly around the throat, whilst plucking feathers, and looking for a large roasting pan....
