Flash Power Packs?

Hello Peter. Yes I've tried them all both new and used but they are like rocky horse droppings and hens teeth, very difficult to find. I think I might have a look at B&H new york as I got one of my TR power packs for my 400 hammerhead flashes from them. CHEERS Vic.

they cost about the same as a second flash.... you can double your number of shots and multiply your lighting options by buying that second flash.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

Why not stick with the 400s and but one Quantum battery pack which will run both flashes?

B&H have (1) TR3 for the 540FGZ but at approx £100.00 plus P&P plus import tax etc. As for my TR pack I have 2 to go with my 2 400 hammerheads. The TR2 for the 500FTZ seems impossible to find and even it could be found the voltage is to high for the FGZ. Something to do with american laws Pentax had to lower the voltage on the TR3?. (I found that on an american forum site). Just a reminder I do have a Pentax/Vivitar 510 power pack which is for free or just P&P as spare parts or for someone to mend. CHEERS Vic.

(1) Power pack TR2 for flashgun AF-500FTZ.
(2) Power pack TR3 for flashgun AF-540FGZ.
At reasonable prices of course.

PS I also have a 512 power pack which is not working. If anyone thinks they can repair it it is FREE to collect or for the price of the postage.
