As you have the K1, would it need to be full frame? How about a serviced LX as a compact second body?

11 & 14 are my favorites although the whole set are great! 11 for the sparse view and 14 for the otherworldly view.

Sometimes we only really see when we really look. 😋

The Da50 is a very good lens. Very sharp from f2.8, good colour, good contrast and as a true macro lens, it is sharp across the frame. It is also a full frame lens. Not all of these attributes are always wanted on a portrait lens.

It will work for portraits, on APS C it covers the same field of view as a 75mm on full frame, on full frame it is a little short. Works well as a general 50mm lens and is a really good macro lens, although the 100mm is probably better for insects size subjects as it allows for a greater working distance. The 50mm is really good for document copying and such like subjects but it would be less of a problem on full frame.

Does depend really on the look you after it your portraits.
The maximum aperture of 2.8 is not the best for getting out of focus backgrounds on a 50mm, a larger aperture and/or longer focal length would be more useful for portraiture. A less sharp across the frame lens might be good for portraits as well.

I've not been a member for long enough to do PMs, but would you accept £15 for the wide angle? I live in the Midlands but work in Kingsclere sometimes so could save you postage. I think I will next be there at the end of this month.

Hi Chris. I have PM'd you.

I find it easier to transfer my files by removing the SD card and haven't had any problems. I tend to use lots of different manufacturers cards.

The door is a bit tight for the fingers but I always push the card down and let it click out a bit on its detente spring before extracting. I also tend to use my fingernail to help pull it out (sometime guitar picker). I also have fairly thin fingers so that probably helps.

The main thing is to extract the card straight out and not bend it at all. If this is difficult to do with your fingers a pair of fat nosed plastic tweezers or metal ones with a bit of plastic/rubber on the ends (to help with gripping the card) will probably save you from grief.

Several older lenses surplice to my needs. Just thought I would offer here in case anyone was interested.

Miranda 35-70 f3.5-4.5 macro zoom. Macro to 1:4 M lens so no A on aperture ring.

Sigma 28-70mm f2.8-4. Caps, hood. A setting on aperture ring. Slight mark on front element but will not show on pictures.

Tosner MC (Toshiba) 35mm f3.5 prime lens. Caps. Good condition (passed sticker). M lens, no A setting on aperture ring.

Open to offers but postage at cost. I'll stick some pictures up if anybody is interested.
