What Is 'photo knowledge'?

Is it dreaming the picture?
Is it seeing the picture?
Is it feeling the picture?
Is it capturing the picture?
Is it adjusting the picture?
Is it presenting the picture?
Is it capturing the feeling in the picture?

Is it all of these or some or none?

I think the merging of the three exposures is great. Not sure if the tree removal makes it any better though, I think both work.

Not so sure of the mono, bit too dramatic for me when using this particular view. Could be great in a close up of the tower though, looking up to those clouds with the tower bending back!

The leaning back of the tower is a bit drastic though in this shot. I always find it difficult to resist trying to get all the hight in the frame.

Maybe, but why did he have to account for himself in the first place, when there was no real danger that he was a terrorist. If he had been do you think the police would have had a long discussion on the pavement!

One thing I find interesting is the consensus that filming ‘security’ cameras, even in a public place, seem to be a bad thing.
Whilst some are installed by the state, most are at the whim of a nearby property owner for their own purposes, yet we accept them without any problems and even suggest that we shouldn't take pictures of them! Why not if they are looking at me, in a public place, why should I not look at them?

Don't get me wrong, I understand why they may be there and private cameras are very useful to our law enforcement agencies for catching criminals but most of them have no more or less right to capture images than you or me. My photographs may also be useful to catch a criminal one day but why should I have to mind where I point my camera?

I used this argument with a private security guard back in the summer who couldn't tell me why he could happily watch me on his camera all day but I needed to be questioned when using my camera in a public place where he could see me. I accept that he may have wanted to make sure I wasn’t up to no good by keeping an eye on me but why did he think i should account for myself?

Why did this girl have to account for herself in the first place? The PCSO did not think she was a terrorist, he said so. He did not get the reaction to his questions he thought he should so he decided to bully her instead. Clear and simple. Not the mark of a well trained keeper of the peace.
Why is the worst suspected first!

The fact that PCSO’s or private security people start most of these incidences suggests that the big problem is bad selection of people for this sort of job and insufficent training. Why when the real police come after do they get swept along in some sort of collective paranoia that keeps making a major issue out of nothing but a reasonable and legal activity?

I've only been around here since January 09 but that is one thing I have never found out.
I don't think it matters too much as everyone is very friendly and happy to help with any questions or learn from others experience. I expect somone will be along soon to explain.

I don't do large amounts of printing so my ink often hangs around in the printer for a while and I have not had any problems. Used to with my epsom printer!

They do chipped and unchipped, bulk buys and originals. I use the compatables cos I don't see why I should increase Canons profits.

Seems a bit dark on my screen too. I think what may be 'missing' is sparkle.
With the light the way it is, the picture should have a bit more sparkle! Does that make sense?

I think you will find that PC world are stocking pentax, they have K7 and Kx in store.
There was no suggestion that it was a sale and they stocked several lenses and flashguns.
