No 1 for sure. I like the mountains to look like mountains!
Both lovely though.

Sorry but I liked the original! The beam and the continually changing rust colour, the rough cut blocks all add to the picture for me.

Also nice to see that you don't need expensive glass to get a super image.

I think you have it there, lack of interest in the sky.
I like the building in the first one best but the sky is??? well not really anything.

Following the thread on the 'classified' section on polorising filters, I was thinking why are filters so expensive for ones that work properly?

Don't get me wrong, I agree with the idea that the cheap ones are usually not much cop and a waste of money but given that I can get a fairly good multicoated lens for around £100 how can it be justifyed to charge the same for a flat piece of glass?

Well It says 'Rayco Photographic Scales' on the box!

I guess they were sold by the Rayco company for photographers to mesure chemicals and such. You know, back in the olden days when cemicals were needed to 'develop the image' you produced.

Thought that somone may give them a good home.

Rayco photographic scales and an incomplete set of microid metric weights.
Not sure how many people would use them but they look good!
No idea how much they are worth, so make me an offer!
