CHEERS Vic.
It does say for both Windows and Mac and I'm fairly certain that it gives the option to download for either/or.

Perhaps anyone else who has downloaded or tried to download for Mac use might shed some light. Sorry that you were disappointed on this occasion...
Vic means it won't run on Windows 32bit.
Doh....

Sorry.....

A simple yardstick by which to discern Rooks from Crows is; if you see a Rook on it's own it's a Crow and if you see a lot of Crow's together they are Rooks...

Dismantling and re-assembling the 28-80 was not a simple task, unless you are an expert in lens construction it can be a bit daunting and is 50/50 whether you end up with something that still works. Surprisingly, the FA28-80, which was to all intents and purposes a 'Kit lens' was very well constructed with mostly metal parts which required a fair amount of drilling to get some of the lens elements out. Luckily, I ended up with a completely empty tube with a working aperture!
I found it really simple to dismantle the lens, infact I had all the elements out with no drilling whatsoever. I also ended up with a empty tube and a separate working aperture but unfortunately I also ended up with a multitude of screws, bits of metal and plastic with no idea where they actually went.
You could have used your nice newly acquired K3 to make a video of the dismantling procedure and taken photo's at salient points of your progress
for use as a reference to the rebuild.

Just an idle thought! lol...

If taking good photographs consistently if of interest to you, you could do worse than to take a look at the work of Asahiflex (Peter Jonkman) over on PentaxForums (I won't link because his photos are scattered around many posts) you will see that he produces a lot of very good photos of often quite ordinary subjects, mainly by using the depth of field effectively and taking care over the composition (IMO)

There are some really good photographers that contribute on this forum too, but the work of this guy demonstrates the simplicity of these two key points

I don't agree that a good photograph always comes from its content (although clearly it helps in many cases), just look at some of the Macro shots we often see posted here - the content of one photo is often very similar to another but the results can be stunningly different.
I would add also to look at the work of 'jsherman999' on the the same forum for the same reasons. This guy could shoot through a jam jar bottom
and still produce wonderful images....
