Foliopic is great - I use this as do many others on this website (Shaun Wilson (Puma), David Morgan(Pianoman).

For sale is my much loved Sigma 50mm F2.8 Macro (MF) lens that has served me well and has taken some great macro shots, many of them uploaded to the PU Gallery. The lens is in good condition all round, optics are clean and clear with no damage, fungus or visible dust. Aperture is snappy and without any traces of oil. The lens is very sharp and has lovely bokeh. Being a 'A' lens with an aperture ring it will operate in Auto Mode or will allow full manual control. The lens comes with original box, hood and front cap, and has a replacement rear cap. I will throw in a Kood skylight filter for free. Filter size is 52mm. £90 + £5 postage, or RMSD can be arranged at extra cost if required. The lens is pictured below, along with two images shot with it. If not sold on the forum, the lens will be on ebay in a week or so.

Welcome Martyn, I'm very impressed with your first shot posted on the Gallery! When you've had a chance to use your K-5 and Pentax gear more, it would be interesting to know what you think of it compared to your previous Canon equipment.

I do delete a few on first review (blurred, shake, composition poor), but everything else is kept in RAW format and stored on my hard drives. I have two 2 Terabyte drives and plenty of room left at present, so no worries yet.

Thanks Gary, I don't use the hood so this isn't a problem! Sunny weather is more difficult at the moment.

I agree with you about the lens, it is fantastic and I was lucky enough to pick it up for next to nothing, as it was bundled with a K-x I bought off ebay. Bit of a bargain methinks!

I like it too, the only negative is that I think it makes the sand look a little like mud, but it's a great effect and I agree that it would be at its best on a wall canvas.

Hi Donald, I would suggest that you take note of the advice given on here by members who own and use K-r's. Don't take too much notice of what the reviews you have have read are saying; there is no issue with exposure or dynamic range on any of the recent Pentax cameras, K-x, K-r or K-5. You will get yourself tied up in knots and more confused the more reviews you read. Buy a K-r and you won't regret it. Pay a bit more and buy a K-5 and you won't regret it. Use either of them properly and you will get sparkling, properly exposed images.

I think we may all have overlooked something? Surely it must have a 'free' K-01 inside it for this money?
