I like your web page David, how did you do that?
It's just a standard template Louise, that you get when you join Foliopic - this is a website builder aimed at photographers. It's quite flexible, but probably not one of the best out there and I don't spend much time on it to be honest. I think it could do with a re-vamp.

Thanks Doug, that's 6 contributors now! Sounds like you have more important things to consider than this website!

Cheers

Why would you apologise for asking Louise? There's no need to do that, you are obviously a very thoughtful person and I'm sure that most of us on here are only too pleased to offer advice and help.

For what it's worth, I liked your original version, it had a quirkiness and character that appealed to me. You will never be able to please everyone so I would say just do what you think is right and take from the advice the few nuggets of gold that appeal to you.

The trouble with that Barrie is that it's just wrong. There has just been an announcement of a whole mass of price reductions....
So David's announcement about the FF is correct then. (said with a sense of humour)
A rash of price reductions is always a precursor to what? A price rise of course! Either that or an announcement of Administration

I think this thread sums up my original point - there's only four of us that have contributed so far!

For heavens sake, what are people doing on a Friday Night?

I think theres a bit of a plateau been reached at the moment for Pentax -over the 2-3 years I've been around the big things have been the K5II / s and all the debate about the aa filter, then the K3 and talk of sensor resolutions, and of course all the time in the background the constant resurfacing of the full-frame desires. This seems to have settled as we have to accept the situation for now. The cycle of development will pick up again and that will kickstart more discussion as people make their wishlists again.
Will you start the rumour or will I??????
I will do it!

PENTAX ANNOUNCES BIGGER THAN FULL FRAME SENSOR AND UP TO 1,000,000 ISO WITH ZERO IMAGE NOISE, IN COMPACT DSLR PACKAGE THAT RETAILS FOR UNDER £500!

Is that any good?

I thought images posted in "Your Photos" were put in as "up for discussion" the gallery was an "exhibition" of your work
I'm not sure Barrie. If this is the case, why are we allowed to comment on Gallery images?
