Just manually focus to just the far side of the subject, then use autofocus to do the rest. Works very fast that way. If you are focused in front of the subject then the combo will hunt like hell, coming closer before going out past the subject and then coming back. So it's just a case of doing the simple step first and bob's your uncle.

All those wishing to start a Chat Lounge could get their heads together and set up a new site. Membership by subscription only to offset the cost of such a venture, until such a time as the site became totally supported by advertising. Piece of cake really.

Uploaded to Lr. Slightly warmer WB than daylight, lightened it up a bit, raised shadows, clipped highlights, removed noise. Went into ColorEfexPro 4, enhanced detail, added neutral grad to darken top and lighten bottom. Back into Lr to remove the extra noise due to excessive pp!!
