Having acquired a DA 12-24, this lens is now surplus to requirements.

There is a history behind the lens. I bought a 2nd hand 10-20 about 2 years ago. It was obvious that it was faulty. I had a little trouble with the seller, so decided to get the lens repaired under the remaining warranty. The lens was sent to Sigma in Japan, returned repaired, but the same fault returned within about 100 shots. I sent the lens off again. This time, in June 2014, Sigma replaced the lens with one that, although not new, looked like new. More to the point, it worked flawlessly, and has ever since.

So, it is this replacement lens that I am now selling. It has no box, but it has the normal soft pouch and original caps. The lens has been protected by an UV filter, but this is not included in the sale (because it's scratched now). The lens has been used quite sparingly, only when I wanted to go wider than my K20mm would allow.

The lens is in very good condition, as you should be able to see from the photos below.

I am asking £195 including signed for, insured, postage from France to anywhere in the EU.

Thanks, Tim, for a perfect transaction, and may I wish you all the best with your new system!

Indeed, which only goes to show what a stupid thing Reuters has done!

[quote:3496ace15f="pgweber"][quote:3496ace15f="stub"]For my low light gig photography. It will produce far less noise in images .
But will it?
The pixels will be about the same size as on a 16 MP APS-C, so similar to the K5 series I would have thought.
true but the K-5 was released in 2010, I would hope sensor technology has improved since.
That's right. They are younger pixels so will be able to see better in the dark. [/quote]But surely it's irresponsible for those young pixels to be out at late night gigs - call yourself a responsible Pentax owner !!!

I let them sleep in late.
