Does the green button try and stop down the lens and run the autofocus motor?

Also you may be aware that the 35mm f/2, though discontinued by Pentax, is now also sold by Samsung...

I took photos in RAW and had to wait a few extra seconds while the camera recorded the image to the card. Litterally I could see the record light for several seconds.
Oh well, bit of a moot point now. I've played with a few other DSLRs and I can honestly say the K10D does not seem slow to me.
Hope you find what you're looking for.

Interesting, you seem to be posting the same message on all the Pentax forums.

However, I do find it odd, to buy a camera that doesn't have a specific feature you want (B&W mode), then complain it hasn't got it. And the slow writing of RAW files is frankly baffling, does he mean the buffer should be bigger, so he can take more than 10 in a row?
Not sure what he means by "can only shoot JPEG when bracketing is turned on". Is that "when bracketing is turned on, can only shoot JPEG", or "can't shoot JPEG unless bracketing is turned on"? Either way points to a faulty camera surely?

When I was using film I would use Velvia, and nearly always a polariser, so with an effective ISO of about 10, (40 - 50 speed film less two stops), and trying to get some depth of field, exposures of 1/2s or more are inevitable.
Now I'm using digital I would still choose ISO100 for it's finest quality, so shutter speeds will still be slow.
But I would ask what's the 'correct' amount of blur? How do you "capture the water movement clearly"? Surely stopping the water, so that individual droplets are visible, is just as 'fake' as blurring it?
