Epping Forest

Well, inspired by Tim's 'Old England Fall', and seeing as I should be out there taking pics whenever I can, I popped over to Epping Forest this afternoon. Unfortunately/fortunately the sky turned pale grey, so I had to crop it out of any of the pics (thinking panoramics all the time I was shooting), but it was a great light for bringing out all the details.

Really nice set Dan. I must remember to look for the small things as well as the bigger picture. After all I carted around my Tamron 90mm and didn't get it out at all!

There were surprisingly few decent toadstools around, most were well past their best. Both the Fly Agarics were badly eaten, but luckily only on one side so I could compose to miss out the munched bits.
