Excellent news Simon - how long before you know where you came? Keep us posted.

Would like it the way it was also.

However, in the meantime, we'll just have to keep on asking John and Matt to edit them for us. Once we've all done that a few times (sorry John and Matt ) then they can demand the 'edit post' option back again, and have a very good reason why it should be there!

Dan

EDIT: Edited just because I can at the moment - making the most of it.

The Adaptall 1 and Adaptall 2 mounts are, as far as I know, completely different beasts, it's not a case of PK for one and PK/A for another.

You can get a PK or a PK/A mount for your lenses. The PK/A ones are fairly uncommon, and will cost you around £60 - £70 these days, unless you're lucky and find a seller who doesn't realise it. A PK one is around £15 - £20, but has the practical limitations that Mongoose outlined. I did have a PK/A one, but Mongoose bought it.

By the way, I really like this image of yours, but wondering what all the bits are, looks like you had a really filthy sensor, but guessing the thing had just taken off and it kicked up a load of muck.

Looks like an air to air shot.

Dan

EDIT: Hmmmm, just seen you shot that at f/22... how dirty is your sensor?

Yes, round the edges of some petals are some odd blue pixels...

Okay, I will make a suggestion to the dev team, the way they've been working lately I'm sure:

a) They'll be able to do it and

b) They'll love me for it!

Dan

P.S. John, I realise that you can just go through all the images and enter your judging as you go along, but for those that like to critique as they're posted, it would save an extra step.

Would there be a way for the judge to comment on the individual photos as the week goes on, but for those comments to be visible to everyone else only after the competition has closed, or even better when the judge chooses to 'publish results'? That way, it saves having to cut and paste from a seperate document.

If this seems like a good idea, perhaps we could suggest it to the team.
