CRB checks are only required if you regularly work unsupervised/unaccompanied with children. For a one-off photography thing this would not be required. The CRB take a dim view of organisations submitting unnecessary requests for checks.

Each new employer should carry out new checks, even if they're within the same borough.

...but I could be wrong! Just make sure you check it out. It's definitely something I wouldn't want to be without.

I think I would go for (out of the two) the K200D, as I like bigger cameras and you can get a grip for this model. This deal just looks unbeatable to me.

I started having problems with my printer (can't remember if it was my old Canon i850 or my older Epson 640) stopping halfway through a print, even just on A4, and it turned out that the printer didn't seem to like the USB expansion card I had it plugged into. Once I used one on the motherboard instead it was fine.

Can't find the paper listed anywhere in stock, but just looked at the pack between my computer desk and the hi-fi, and find there's 6 sheets in there. Sorry, not for sale, I might have to print up a couple of panoramics now.

Think the roll option is your best bet.

From that DPReview preview it looks like it only has a digital preview function, not an optical DOF preview. Could be wrong though.

Sorry for all the 'previews'!

Well you need to check out Bristol Cameras first. they have it listed at £649
Thought we were still talking about the 300mm for a second there! Which, by the way are £799 at SRS, and you get £50 cashback too.

The categories aren't topics for the competitions, just broad categories in case someone wanted to look at all the 'Black and White' photos in the gallery, or the 'nature/wildlife'. So pick one that fits your submission ('General', if nothing else) and submit away!

my 18-35 kit lens from my istD worked on the MZ7, with vignetting under 24mm, it was like having a fisheye you can actually see the vignette in the viewfinder too.
Except it's rectilinear, so it's actually just a super-wide angle on film. It does cover the full image circle too, just with some very minor darkening at the corners (just had another look at the slides I took with it - the only ones with any noticable vignetting are the two that I'd mis-aligned the cokin filter holder :roll.
