SMC coating?
There's also the colour rendition of course, might be different with the multi-coatings that the other models would undoubtedly have. I wouldn't have thought that there'd be much chance of flare in general use with such a recessed front element.

By the way, congratulations to David, it seems that getting him to set the competion is the only way to guarentee him not getting a placing!
Just had a look at the last few weeks competition results! He was definitely due a win, wasn't he! Always the bridesmaid - well now he's the bride.
