More to do with the Pinkish / red cast i seem to be seeing.
Any ideas what is causing it?
Just to point out also i had to desat the red channel by around -24 in CS4 as his t-shirt was incredibly oversaturated.

Nothing to do with surroundings guys.
Subjects Skin Tones to be more precise.

Can anyone see anything wrong with it?
Might just be my eyes playing tricks on me or the fact im new to the K20D.
Wont say what it is i think im just curious if anyone else can see it.

Looked at a few other Chaffinch pictures today taken by other photographers and they all look the same color.

Possibly the time of the year?
I didnt know what it was but thats pretty much how he looked.

Thank god someone knew as i hadnt a clue.

Took delivery of the Sigma 400mm f5.6 from TKK today. Ive never used a lens of that range before so i went out and took a few shots.
All shots are Hand Held with in Camera SR on.

Its a decent enough subject but i get the impression from it that its lacking focus in that you seemed unsure what you really wanted to focus on.
Did you do any Sharpening in PP?
Possible improvements might have been stand further back and to the left thus separating the tree and the house but its a nice subject.
