Some Birds from Today

Took delivery of the Sigma 400mm f5.6 from TKK today. Ive never used a lens of that range before so i went out and took a few shots.
All shots are Hand Held with in Camera SR on.

The Blackbird and Starling shots are very good, but that Chaffinch's head is way too blue and unrealistic. What happened, it's headshould be a grey/blue colour (closer to grey).

Looked at a few other Chaffinch pictures today taken by other photographers and they all look the same color.

Possibly the time of the year?
I didnt know what it was but thats pretty much how he looked.
