You can insert a Ey-Fi SD card into the K-x and connect directly to an android tablet, tend to work best, i.e quickest on the smallest jpeg file, I now shoot Raw +, the raw stays on the card, the jpeg copies to the tablet and displays the image to the sitter.

There's nothing I'm aware of that'll give tablet control over the camera, if you do come across it, let me know plse.

Cheers

Go along and try it, many offer something like £2 per night for a max of 3 evenings so you can try them out and usually it comes off your first years subs if you decide to join.

Giving the 17-70 an optical quality if 3 is balderdash IMO. I am continually amazed by the quality of mine and it easily equals the quality of any of my pentax lenses,m any of which were much more expensive.

Highly recommended.
totally agree with Smeggypants, my Sigi 17-70 lives on the K5 as standard, excellent IQ.

It sounds like you've shorted some contacts as you've put the other lens on thats started the autofocus motor running, it's always much better to switch the camera OFF before swaping a Lens.

If the camera's been working fine since, I don't think any damage been done, see how you go for a week or so and if it's still OK, forget about the incident.

I've been using a set of 3 normal studio lights 250w c/w softboxes, umbrella's, stands and triggers for £250 delivered to the UK, for 3+ years at least monthly and very impressed.

OK, there not professional quality, but there pretty good, check out " Link Delight " on fleabay or google them.
