thanks,

do you think F4 is fast enough for indoor action shot at iso 1600?
Yep I'd think so, you can also go to Iso 3200 or highter if necessary, the K5's good even at those speeds.

Not really, be sensible and patient, i.e don't attack it with a screwdriver wrapped in a cloth , use proper fluid and brush and if necessary repeat the cleaning operation.

Do make sure the batteries fully charged otherwise the mirror may come down during the operation should the battery die on you.

I use old business card plastic boxes, can get 3 side on in these and I also reverse them so there's no chance of the contacts ever touching,

PM me your address and I'll post you one,

Cant comment on the Kx, never used one, but if these images are anything to go by, its an excellent piece of kit, Like #1 and #3

If you are using the tripod to get sharp shots then as said use f8 to f11 also use the 2 second self timer to release the shutter. And keep the shutter speed above 500th of a second.
And Turn OFF the Shake Reduction ( SR )

I use the 8GB Pro, it was the only one to state it handled Raw files, but as above they take toooo long to download. if you just shoot Jpeg go for a the 4GB.

In terms of range, not tried it outside yet, in-doors the max I've used is about 30ft, don't know if it'll do more, not needed to find out yet !

The preview is Full Screen, although you'll need to rotate the Tablet from Portrature to Landscape each time to fully benefit, I leave it in portrait when shooting and go back if necessary.

I do exactly the same thing, but don't need Aperture and import directly on to a tablet, the Eye-Fi software automatically opens and displays the image.

The Raws are left on the card for later import to computer.

OK as to Ey-Fi never used it but will look into it thank you. I also like RAW+ just a shame it takes up so much space.
One plus point on the space is that you can set the Ey-Fi to take the Jpegs and leave the raws on the card, so either the card fills first with the Raws or the Tablet fills first ( unlikely ) with the Jpegs.

I use 8GB SDHC cards and have yet to fill one completly on a 5 hr portrait shoot.

I do only use this mode as an aid to the model so she can see whats being captured.

Cheers
