Well done. I can imagine it's not that easy to handle that setup.

Thanks everyone. The first picture was my most exciting. It was a huge caterpillar!

Clarky, The last one is a globular Springtail about 2mm in length. Cute little things as Dan says

I stayed away for a while to cool down from the changes made here a while back. I'm feeling much better now

Thought I'd post some of my favourite macros of this summer for those that are interested. All with the K20D, Sigma 180mm, Metz 48 AF-1 on a monopod:

Pentax AF160C - Due end of November. Retail price = £429. Again, I saw one the other day and it worked well.
Oof! I have one of these pre-ordered with SRS and hope they're able to give a bit of a discount on the RRP if it's that much

Think Chirpy on here has the Sigma 500mm, not cheap though! About £3k?
I do have the lens and it continues to be a stunner. Haven't had much chance to get out with it this year (been concentrating on Macro stuff since spring) but hope to get out more now that autumn/winter is here.

It was considerably less that £3k when the dollar was at its weakest, but it's climbing back up again.

Regarding the bigma - I had that too, but was disappointed with the long end for consistent sharpness and AF with it's relatively slow aperture at 500mm (bearing in mind the UK weather).

One of my favourites with the 500mm:

Indeed. Things were ticking along nicely without any issues. Ah well. Big Brother - I call it arrogance.

Not mine. I got the email after answering - you don't get a new email for the post you just made - well, you shouldn't. I got the email just before I posted my second reply.

There are so many things that are still broken or missing, I've given up with it TBH.

I too have cancelled my magazine subscription in response to the changes made and the attitude of certain PU individuals.
