Hello Bert, I have tried the manual settings followed by a shutdown. The settings have been retained but in order to manually adjust the focus again the first move is a right click of the four way controller to initiate manual focus. This is followed by up and down with the four way controller to manually adjust the focus as before.

Hey, Barrie I live in Suffolk and I go to Watford. Probably quicker to come from Spain and probably makes a refreshing change.

He he!! I suppose as Brits we are all mongrels anyway what with the raping and pillaging Vikings, Goths, Franks and Uncle Tom Cobbly and all visiting this Septic Isle. Still my roots are in Yorkshire and everywhere else are remains from Slarty Barkfast`s design studio.

Walked past the Ipswich Jessops today. Obviously the shutters were down and the lights were off. Had some very sad feelings for the poor folk that used to work there.

The shop I miss most is Anglia Cameras that used to be in Ipswich. Always competitive on price, loads of advice and very well stocked and for a town centre shop they also had a small car park. I suspect they were so into film and developing etc. that the digital age pulled the rug.

I`ll never go to the US and as a Yorkshireman I can`t let go of the Rose wars. The real terror would for me to find relatives from the wrong side of the Pennines. When I found my family I had one in Lincolnshire, one in County Durham and one in Buckinghamshire whew!

Well in that case HG, Honesty needs all the help she can get. Explosives, detonators, graffiti paint, manuals on how to disrupt traffic flow etc.etc.

What sort of Yorkshireman allows a daughter to enter Lancashire? HG you need to review this and warn her of the dangers from the red rose.
