I would also like to see a video section to the forum. With a K5, K30 and an X5 I would like to share techniques. It`s an area I struggle with to be honest so much so that I bought an XM2. I found it quite alien to use a DSLR for video rather than a "Proper" video camera.

Incredible answers! I can vouch for the Sigma 150-500 from SRS. Mine is the APO version and the three year warranty from Sigma was not a problem.

Woohoo! Thanks everyone, I installed Adblock plus and all of the daft ads for Blackberries and Fluke meters have disappeared. I don`t have a single advert now.
I don`t have a "Cogwheel" under the closing X on Firefox I guess it`s for IE which I never use.

I switched off everything I could find in Ad Choices but I still get adverts for all sorts of junk that I`m not interested in. My undying gratitude if anyone can advise how to switch the lot off.

Andy, hope your girlfriend is OK. As for the camera I would guess that it`s possibly not an economic repair. Having said that if it produces images as expected it could be worth living with. Johnsons Photopia are the recommended Pentax repairers but it`s also worth trying others like Harrow Technical. I have only experienced Johnsons but I am sure others will be able to give some input.
