Thanks for posting David, I'm not as keen on number 2 as the others as its a bit busy for my liking although as part of a set it does give some context.

It's the bit of plastic the rubber is attached to that slides up and off. Don't try pulling the rubber or you may tear it. Comes off quite easily , get my thumb nail under it (just above lcd) and pull upwards. The cover then just slides on.

Thanks George, I didnt....is that what it is?
Most likely yes. Try with the viewfinder cover that comes with the camera (did with k5 and above)

Are you covering the viewfinder when doing these ? If not you risk light entering.

Hi Chris, still using my phone so not as easy to search for specifics, found this on Pentaxforums, ....

The crosses are for the new HSM Sigma lenses.
The teleconverters will not work with them, Sigma totally messed that up.

Mike has the right answer. the sigma 1.4x and 2x TCs do not support HSM (they lack the power contacts of the KAF2 mount, and sigma does not include a screw drive on the HSM lenses for back compatability.

Note also that the sigma 1.4x and 2x TCs only ever worked with a limited range of sigma lenses because the front element of the TC protrudes into the lens a little. They were specifically designed for the long fast tele zooms and primes and not as a general TC where you would want to double the focal length of a shorter lens because you were in a pinch and needed extra length

Hi Chris, I saw this and I think that list is mainly canon and Nikon, the Pentax version does not have the HSM (SDM) contacts. Compare it to an sdm lens mount and you can see. I had this tc and it wouldn't auto focus with my sigma 50-150 f2.8 as its HSM, but this is on the list still.

I believe it will work with sigma 300 2.8 in Pentax fit as this is screw drive as well as the other 2 I mentioned.

If you search on DPR or Pentaxforums I'm sure you'll find a compatible list of sigma lenses in Pentax fit, currently only have my phone and limited wi fi so bit difficult to track down. I can look later on wife's iPad.

I believe the Pentax version of this is screw drive only, hence will only AF with some sigma screw drive lenses. I used to have this and it worked with my 100-300f4 and original 70-200 f2.8 (non hsm). I'm sure there is a list of compatible lenses on one of the forums - may even be in instruction sheet.
