Indeed and thanks to carmagw for sharing the link.
Nice to see someone on here got it. If I had the spare cash I would have gone for it myself but I've spent far too much on gear this year.

Ffords have a mint- condition one at the moment. FF compatible, maybe of use to someone who cannot afford the Pentax 15-30

I went for a wander around Longshaw Estate and up Padley Gorge last week as the weather was nice and the trees were looking great.

All taken handheld with K1 and Sigma 24-70 2.8 (screwdrive version), pp in lightroom

Nice set, no 2 for me. I would image this would look great as a really large print (the others probably would as well to be fair !)

Absolutely terrific set. And as a fan of street photography I find No.s 7+8 superb.

Few shots from the last couple of days. Not had too much time to play with the K1 but thought I'd post some of the efforts to date. Other than the portrait (Sigma 85 1.4) all taken with my new mount Sigma 70-200.

Just me messing about with DoF and the K1, all Jpeg shots, minor adjusment in lightroom, some are cropped.

Look to have a nice second hand copy if any new K1 owners were interested.

This works fine on my K1 in FF mode. I'm pretty sure its on the list of compatible lenses.

On a very basic test just now, only slight corner darkening with the hood on, but I'm having to look for it (it may actually be darker clouds in my shot, hard to tell). From f4 onwards I struggle to see it when using hood.

Without the hood I see no issues, so perhaps a smaller hood would suffice. I see someone suggests using a generic hood for a DA55-300 and trimming in down to size to get round this.

George
