I would of liked to have seen a lens like Canons 24-105mm f4 or Nikons 24-120mm as well for around £600 or less, then it gives us a choice and our wallets a bit of breathing space.

They then could offer the camera and f2.8 lens for £2999 and the f4 camera/lens package for say £2299, then you have options for all markets.
...or even an SMC Pentax FA 24-90mm f3.5-4.5 IF AL with ghostless coating and an aperture ring - They had one of those in their line-up towards the end of their film days. How much do you think they would sell for?
But you're missing the point the whole point of the FF body is to fill the missing gap, why would you then spend time rushing to release none fast glass? Imagine they where to release a 3.5-4.5 speed zoom lens the outcry would be massive of Pentax selling the brand short etc...

As for the price of the 24-70mm its in the same ball park as other marques lenses, I wouldn't have expected anything else to be honest.

I would expect the 24-105mm f/4 lens to be next on the road map to add as kit lens as Nikon and Canon have done with their FF bodies in the past.

Whatever it eventually is, it won't be for everyone. Some want superior low-light performance while some want massive resolving power for landscape detail. Personally I'm more interested in understanding why people are interested in a FF in the first place. But of course, I'm also curious about the camera when it eventually appears.
You forgot the larger viewfinder

The k-5 is a far better camera than the d7000, I've owned both. As for accessories my third party grip and flash is causing major issues with my d750. Maybe Nikon are putting in measures to prevent third party accessories from functioning like Apple have done with the lightning connector.

My flash and grip work fine on my older d600 and it's not as if you can ask Nikon f they have any issues with third party manufactured products.

Shoot proof are very very good and have some good anti stealing methods built in. I shopped around for ages for a web service to offer the options I want and shoot proof are fantastic and Loxley are the very best in terms of photo prints, only photographers can use them so how much they charge for fulfilment is not open to all and sundry.

I rely on shoot proof for an income stream is more than does that along with some very very good marketing options...

I sell my wedding photography prints to clients through shoot proof which uses Loxley as a print provider. They also add watermarks which obviously aren't on the final printed version and allows digital downloads for a fee too. You decide how much markup you want to make. If you go down the eBay route of selling beware a lot of images for sale on there are originally stolen and are sold very cheaply.

I want people to steal my images it's a great income stream for me, unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you see it watermarks have stopped my images being stolen. I ensure my watermark does not affect the image to the viewer, I hate watermarks plastered across the centre of the image and says more about the photographer than any copyright prevention methods.

Pentax could start attracting more pros by offering better levels of support than the competition.

Nikon for example, users now need 6 pieces of expensive kit to be considered a professional. Pentax could easily compete against this by making the FF body and lenses a priority for support to pros. Once this level of support is spread via word of mouth through the pro community pros would soon start changing over. This is exactly what happened with Fuji, one or two pros started using their tiny bodies and now many pros are using them.

Pentax bodies and lenses are good enough for pros it's just that little extra that adds value.

Nine out of the top ten selling laptops (2014 stats for selling laptops) use proprietary parts. Companies such as Dell/Alienware, HP, Lenovo, even Apple/Mac. Proprietary meaning, one cannot purchase these parts anyplace except for where one purchased the laptop>

But it gets worse... Typically in Apple/Mac releases quite a number of parts are simply not available (even) with six months of initial product release. Even desktop (all-in-one) Macs have a large number of parts which are not replaceable at all; once certain parts go on the device, it's simply beyond repair.

Also to be quite specific, there are only some six laptops names ever produced today that have user replaceable parts, in case of failure of wanting to upgrade
Which makes my point about support and warranty even more pertinent. My current MacBook cannot be upgraded as all the components are soldered to the board except I believe the ssd which I never intend to upgrade anyhow.

Most laptops are the same nowadays made from similar branded components. I always look for aftercare and my past experiences.

Dell have always been excellent sending a courier with a pedi case, drop the laptop in and arrived back four days later.

Toshiba wanted me to pack my laptop in a stronger box than the original box at my expense and post it again at my expense using RMSD at a cost of around £25 due to value.

Samsung support was truly dreadful, support consisted of user forums where answers where guessed by other fellow users, no phone support or email support.

Currys / PC World sctratched my laptop case and screen under repair that they eventually replaced it with a brand new one after threatening legal action.

Latest Lightroom 6 now uses graphics cards so I would check which cards are compatible and within which laptops they are available in.
