A lot of these old lenses are soft in the corners on APS-C. I can't imagine they will be any use on FF (which is more than twice the area) apart from as a Body Cap if you lose the FF Body Cap
The 43mm Ltd should be OK.
24mm and 28mm Pentax need to urgently re-design these even for APS-C.
I've seen good results from the 50mm 'A' f/1.4 on FF via an adapter.
The FA 50mm f/2.8 Macro should also perform well.

Had a quick gander at mine and it reminded me how many I've gathered over the years -
Sigma 105 Macro (for sale in classifieds)
Pentax 100 Macro
Sigma 150-500
Sigma 100-300 F4
Sigma 24-70 F2.8
Sigma 85 F1.4
Sigma 70-200 F2.8
Pentax 28 F3.5
Plus I believe the DA* 300 and DA* 55 are also compatible.
If its a mega pixel monster though it would have to be something special to tempt me (as well as the price), I would prefer something along the lines of the
nikon D750 pixel wise.

I've been adding to my FF compatible stable recently
FA43

Tamron 24-135
Tamron 70-200

My DA* 300 should be OK too.
Lots of MF lenses, including my Tamron adaptall 105mm f2.5, which was a nice portrait lens on my 35mm cameras (Canon FD mount in those days!)

I could be in a little trouble, or my wallet is going to be.
I have a FA50 1.4 as well as a Tamron 70-200. Nothing longer, nothing shorter.
Back in the day with my ME Super, I used to use a 28mm, and a 50mm for well over 90% of the time. Maybe it is time to bite the bullet and invest in a 31mm limited. But then the list grows of what others to buy.

Armed with a K3, some M, A, FA, DA, and star lens. With an eye open for "just one more lens".

The only A/F lenses I have for FF are the F50 1.7 and the f35-70and possibly DA300f4 .But as manual focus is what I enjoy I would be well covered with the collection of A.M.K and my Takumars. But I cannot see me bothering with FF as I cannot see what it will give me over the crop sensor kit that I use now.

Presumably Ricoh/Pentax would be happy with that .... The legacy aspect of our system is an opportunity, but a liability also. The real money is surely made over the longer term with lens sales once customers have a camera body. It's a risk if the market is primarily to older Pentax diehards, eagerly polishing up their carefully stashed K, M, A. F and FA gems from the past.

Last time I checked the average of ALL lens sales compared to body sales it was 160%. So lens sales are essential.

I may in a few years time but at the moment I am happy with the K-5IIs. TBH I have never felt the need for full frame.but I can understand why some would.

But you photography a lot of things that are a long way away Mike, don't you. Now, If I remember rightly isn't a smaller sensor better for that .... ?

SMC Pentax-FA 43mm f/1.9 Limited would be my standard lens.
SMC Pentax-D FA 100mm f/2.8 Macro would be my portrait lens.
HD Pentax-D FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 would be my birding lens.
I would need a new wide angle, but I could manage quite a bit with just those lenses. I've not counted DA lenses that are reputed to be full frame, as I'm sure new versions will appear in due course.
What would your lens status be?
