Great shot! I purchased a DA 12-24mm some weeks ago, it has already become my favorite zoom lens.

The lens of choice is the Pentax 12-24mm f4, which is perfect for architectural shots. Straight lines will remain straight lines.
I had been wanting to get this lens for a long time, and finally managed to purchase one some weeks ago. It is a fantastic lens, worth every penny (read Norwegian Kroner)

Can someone please explain what it all means, I can't make out which is the 5, which is the 5II and which is the 5IIs

It's OK I'm using the comparometer and there is no competition in my book, from this evidence I can't see Pentax selling many of the 5II.
The most interesting part of this test is when comparing the K-5 with K-5iis "still-life" at ISO 51200, on my screen there is quite a difference.
Hopefully we will get a full thorough review quite soon

Imaging-resource.com studio test shots. Here you can also compare the current K-5 with the two new versions:

Looks promising

I want to upgrade from K20D to K-5. The K20D is a wonderful camera that is the perfect tool for most of my shooting, except for the niche that interests me the most: Northern Lights and night photography. The K-5 will probably be more than good enough for my needs, but the K-5IIs also looks very interesting. What kind of photography benefits the most from a camera without an AA filter? Would there be much to gain with a K-5IIs instead of the current K-5 for Northern Lights and night photography?

A nice set. I especially like 1+3. I lived one year in Gosforth, Newcastle, when I was a kid (Back in the "good ol" 1970s). I would love to visit Newcastle sometime in the future
