Very nice work. I really appreciate your b&w conversions, and prefer these to the colour versions.

A great set Bjorn. Must have taken some discipline/ restraint to stick with film and not use digital. But the mono ones have benefited for doing just that with that fine graininess. Good work!
Thank you Andy! In fact, I did combine film and digital by shooting extensively with an iPhone 8 plus. Although I cannot share my iPhone images here, many of them turned out quite satisfactory. For some of my low light colour shots I would have benefitted from having brought a DSLR along (or a tripod).

Here are some more film shots from my recent travel to New York City. All of the photos were taken with my Pentax KX + Voigtlander Ultron 40/2.0 combo, loaded with Ilford HP5 plus or Kodak Ektar 100. The films were lab processed and later scanned on a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400.

I had a M 135 3.5 and it was a gem.

Could well be you've got a bad un.... Or it could just be you've got a much better eye than me!
My K 135/3.5 might indeed be a bad un....

I have the K version of the 135/3.5, and have been quite disappointed with its sharpness and colour rendition. Luckily I also have a copy of the M100/2.8, and find this a much better lens in all respects. Even if M100/2.8 is a shorter tele, I have always brought this along instead of the 135/3.5 (Maybe my copy of the 135/3.5 is especially bad, it could be?)

Some years ago I had a very nice copy of the A24/2.8, which I sold. Now I only have the K version and the FA 24/2.0. I much prefer Pentax’ 28mm lenses to any of the 24mm, not only because of FOV, but also when it comes to sharpness, contrast and colour rendition.

When it comes to the lenses you mention, I would probably bring the FA20-35, the FA43 and the A35-105. Maybe also the K17 for fun and the (fisheye) effect.

What kind of things will you be photographing?
