I would recommend the K28/3.5 for full frame landscape photography. I use mine on the Pentax K-5 and a Pentax KX film camera, and it performs brilliantly. It is very sharp and has wonderful colour rendition, and should be possible to find at a modest price. The main drawbacks are no “A” setting nor AF. There are many great shots of the K-1 + K28/3.5 over at the American PentaxForum.

A very nice set with good light. I especially appreciated the unique rocks in all buth the fifth image. Are these a result of nature’s own creation, or are they manmade? Thank you for sharing!

I paid €450 for mine in 2013 from the Leica Shop in Austria, and I had to pay import fees. All in all a lot of money, but these lenses are not easily found, so absolutely worth every penny (Norwegian Kroner). I cannot believe I have ever seen the A50/1.2 for sale here in Norway btw.

I am looking forward to seeing images from the lens!
