I much prefer the colour version as, for me, the blue tones convey the feeling of cold more than the black and white.

I prefer the composition of the first one and the BW processing of the second one. I find having the fence line cutting across the frame works better to my eyes. My, it looks cold though! K.

I, too, very much enjoy the reworked one. As for the cold, I've been told bad weather does not exist, only wrong choice of clothing (not that I belive one word of that). Makes for great photo opportunities though.
