My boy Cody

I grabbed the 85mm f2 on Friday, for some quick wide-open portraits of my retired racing greyhound, Cody.








Was quite pleased with the number of shots I got in focus - pretty much all of them, at least when he wasn't running towards me! Coincidentally, I have the lens for sale in the classifieds. This is the first time in about three years I have used it, so I can't justify keeping hold. Although pixel-peeping these shots, I might be making a mistake...

Last one is a cracker. He looks a lovely boy too. I have the M 85 f2. Must give it an outing soon. Sitting portraits only!

Sucker for greyhounds too, though I have never had one. I have friends with greyhounds and podencos. What a bunch of couch potatoes .

He does do a lot of napping! But when it's walk time, it's walk time... you can set your watch by him... that's what's happening in the first shot. "But it's 2 minutes past 12... we are late for our walk, hooman!"

Beautiful dog. I'm drawn to the last two. 👍
