New York film shots II

Here are some more film shots from my recent travel to New York City. All of the photos were taken with my Pentax KX + Voigtlander Ultron 40/2.0 combo, loaded with Ilford HP5 plus or Kodak Ektar 100. The films were lab processed and later scanned on a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400.

A great set Bjorn. Must have taken some discipline/ restraint to stick with film and not use digital. But the mono ones have benefited for doing just that with that fine graininess. Good work!

Thank you Andy! In fact, I did combine film and digital by shooting extensively with an iPhone 8 plus. Although I cannot share my iPhone images here, many of them turned out quite satisfactory. For some of my low light colour shots I would have benefitted from having brought a DSLR along (or a tripod).

3 is an excellent travel shot / street scene. (I don't understand the title?) I really like no. 6 too.

Dumbo is the name of this area near Brooklyn Bridge Park in NYC.

I like no. 6, a very iconic view.

I very much like no.1, how those very present trees bring us to the skyscrapers, which then disappear into the fog/clouds - all of this underlined by the transition in tones.

You can certainly imagine a huge print of No.1 hanging on someone's wall. The tonal transition is excellent.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
