I have never seen a juxtaposition of an expensive camera and popcorn, like in the first photo (Sony A7S mark II). I always keep popcorn away from my camera equipment, especially when changing film

The last few years I have been scanning my fathers Kodachromes and Ektachromes from the 1960s and 1970s. I scan 35mm slides and negatives on a Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400, and the results from Kodachrome and Ektachrome are very good. I have only shot Velvia 50 in 120 format and have had mixed results with scanning this on an Epson flatbed. Dense Velvia 50 film is really very demanding to scan with good results. Hopefully the new Ektachrome will be as scannable as the older versions of Ektachrome. Anyway, exciting times for those of us that enjoy film photography.

Thank you very much for such detailed and thorough response to my query! Based on this I will order the 77mm wide angle adapter, and start using my Lee filters on the DA 12-24.
All is well here in the frozen North. Currently we have record high winter temperatures, so no snow yet.
I have been looking for your images on Flickr, but it seems you have abandoned Flickr? Do you have other galleries where one can view your film and digital astro photography? Have you purchased the K-1 or are you still using the K-5 when using Pentax cameras?
All the best!
