Bought of Ebay with a dodgy prism, Thanks to Mogwog and his big box of spare bits it now has a perfect spotty prism and works wonderfully

The 28mm lens was a bit of an extravegance with the hood and everything all cased but they are supposed to be a good one so I thought maybe worth it.

VERY nice camera to use, just has a very 'proper' feel to it.

Because this is a specifically aimed Pentax User site images should be shot using Pentax equipment. A Pentax lens on something else would have to be allowed in, but the principle should be clear enough.

The spirit of the rules is what is important as we are a Pentax community here. EPZ has all the scope anyone using another marque could wish for.

Where non-Pentax images are used they may well be removed if they come to our attention.
So (some, maybe most) people would be happy me submitting pics off my Canon 20D which I have shot through my lovely SMC Takumar M42 lenses. Not like I'd be doing competition shots or anything fancy, just means I'll submit more photos to the site. Despite owning this piece of Pentax lovelyness:

I can't afford to do everything on film, once I'm doing my own dev and scan I'll be able to do more.

I've wondered where to draw the line. I have a lot of pics taken on my Canon 20D but using the old Pentax M42 lenses, are these 'pentaxy' enough for inclusion?

Pentax Spotmatic F with Super Takumar 35mm f3.5 and 50mm f1.4 lenses. The lenses are in good condition, a tiny hair like mark a couple of mm long on the rear of the 50mm which doesn't show up on any pics, the 35mm is excellent almost mint and both have the proper caps. The spot F was bought as my first film camera in years (I now have an ESII), it all seems to work fine I have run both colour and B&W films through it and posted images here. The metering works fine as far as I can tell (the pics were exposed ok using only the TTL meter as a reference). Cosmetically it has a couple of rubs to the brass (worst of which is from the strap rings and shown if the pic) it also has a small ding in the base near the tripod mount (I can get a pic of this if its important to you). The case is from a K1000 I think, it mostly fits but covers the timer and stopdown switches, you could cut it back, to clear everything, If I kept it I probably would, the manual is in decent condition and complete.

Over all its a very good useable camera I'm only selling as I need one film camera and this should be being used by someone.

Helios 44-2 (58mm f2 manual aperture prime), works perfectly and optically better than my canon nifty fifty was IMHO. Only issues are there is some oil on the aperture blades but they are otherwise clean, light and smooth in operation, and the focusing ring has a small amount of slop, but it is VERY slight, just not as tight as the oly or my pentax stuff.

Very nice cheap lens though.

I'm asking £15 for the Helios, this includes the attached Canon EOS adapters but not postage. I can knock a couple of quid off if you don't want the EOS adapter (some of you might have gone to the digital dark side and it works great on my Canon 20D.

EDIT: Just to confirm this works fine on my spotmatic F there is not much clearance from mirror to the rear element at infinity focus but there is enough.

Hmmm, no strap triangles, they were missing also, but I reckon the rewind crank is the same if you want it.
