Nice shots!

I was pleasantly surprised when I upgraded to the Elite version, which I needed for my A7s, to find that for $69 it upgraded to V10 and also gave me ViewPoint 1 and Film Pack 5. I've been experimenting with the new Clear View feature, which is designed to get rid of atmospheric haze, and so far it looks very promising.

K3 and 16-45mm now sold.

My wife is travelling to the UK tomorrow, so the rest of the stuff is on hold until she/me next goes back to the UK, at which point I will put another ad up.....

Nice shots!

The Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 is great if you want to shoot in low light with a K3. I recently sold mine (I've bought an A7s, which gives cleaner results at ISO 6400 than my K3 did at ISO 200) but while I had the lens I was extremely impressed with it; it's as sharp wide-open at any focal length (albeit a fairly restricted range of focal lengths) as any of my other lenses at any aperture.

I don't mind the layout, but it's all a bit bright. Need my sunglasses.

A quick update and bump, some items sold, others withdrawn from sale.

Pentax K3. Excellent condition. Shutter count 3863. Boxed with spare battery (generic), manual, cables, cd etc. Screen protectors on since new. £550.

Pentax DA 16-45mm 1:4 ED/AL no box . Has some slight marks where the hood locks on the lens but doesn't affect anything. Optics etc all clean. £110

Tamron Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 80-200mm f2.8 LD BBAR Boxed. Comes with original caps and hood. I'm pretty sure I have the tripod attachment for this lens, I'll throw that in for free if I can find it. Very sharp manual focus lens, includes PK/A adapter (normally costs £35 or more). Normal slight signs of wear. Optics and mechanics are perfect. £210.

Tokina 80-400 F4.5-5.6 AT-X 840 AF. No box. This is the series 1 lens, as mentioned previously it has some paint missing from the logo and the hood has some scratches. I'll post some pics as soon as I have the chance. A great easily hand-held compact zoom. £290, taking a large hit on this one..

SMC FA 24-90mm F3.5-4.5 AL [IF] vgc, the second copy of this lens I've had, my favourite zoom. Boxed. £230

Takumar 200mm preset f3.5. Amazing lens with 18 aperture blades, comes with M42/PK adapter. £60

Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 90mm f/2.5, Pentax-M 135mm f3.5, and Samyang 85mm f1.4 mm are all withdrawn from sale, as I've decided to keep them for now.

Items sold will be posted in the UK on 17th November.

Sensible offers will be considered.

I use DXO Optics Pro 9 on any high ISO shots, then continue editing in Lightroom after exporting DNG files. It takes ages exporting files if you use the prime noise reduction though. I don't use any of the default settings in DXO, I prefer to tweak them, especially noise reduction, for which I find the default using Prime too aggressive. The Smart Lighting feature enables you to shoot night scenes two stops underexposed and end up with less noise than if you'd shot at a higher ISO.

The vast majority of my editing is done in Lightroom, including using various Topaz plug-ins. Photoshop is great for some adjustments, it has a lot of choice as to how you adjust levels. I also use it for cloning and watermarks, though GIMP is pretty good for watermarks too. For infrared Photoshop is essential, I've not had anywhere near the same results with any other software. Since getting Enfuse for HDR I've uninstalled Photomatix.

Choice of software is largely dependent on what you shoot imo. Lightroom is the best value for money and covers 90% or more of most people's requirements. If I was contemplating buying my first editing software it would definitely be the one I would choose.

15mm sold provisionally sold

The rest is still up for grabs. I'm very surprised the Tokina ATX 840 hasn't attracted any offers. It's actually the third time I've had this lens for sale too. Ditto the Samyang, though I'm not overly bothered whether that one sells or not, as I will be able use it on my new camera. .

The two Tamron lenses I'm prepared to do as a bundle at £310.
