That sounds very strange. They must have changed the format of the .PEF file?..... which is going to cause problems with other programs that read the original .PEF format file. Unless it's a secret part of the file that only Pentax know about and use?

Looks promising Tim. They had one in a local Cash Converters about 10 years ago
with a massive Gitzo tripod and head.... didn't look like it could be moved

Interesting, but what do you do with your M42 lenses?..... Not a K adapter on a Spotmatic

Was the "depth of field preview button" the biggest marketing con of all time, by all camera manufacturers. Most people can't even see where the image is in focus without katzeyes, split-image screens etc. so how are they going to see where it goes out of focus

Someone was selling a "Mint Condition Sigma APO 135-400mm Lens" on ebay last night. link

The sale was on behalf of his father-in law:
"I am afraid that I am not a photographer and am selling this for my father-in law. So, I may struggle to answer any technical questions."

Claimed it would cost today:
"Estimated cost today is around £1,000"

He forgot to state what camera it was for and therefore only got 4 bids and it went for £113.67 I'll bet his father-in law is impressed

I like them all especially the last. The lighting looks perfect for the effect you've used.

There used to be a Metal Epoxy, much better than the normal stuff. I stuck a quick release on a tripod 30 years ago and it's still going strong. Had 6x6 cameras and all sorts on it
This is the QR you can see the epoxy oozing from under a smooth chrome plate on top of the Bilora B&S

As you can see the old Linhof tripod which goes up to about 7ft 6in has had a rough life......
.... but the epoxy is as good as new

Bit of a muppet. Had he sold them separately he could well have got £40.00 each.

I like the way he put this in the listing:

"For sale 2 Pentax PZ1 camera bodies (only 1 photographed to save costs)" ???

That's probably why he didn't do two listings.... it would have been double the cost and he's too tight to pay that

I love the way ebay automatically punishes idiots

Edit: Just noticed he's had negative feedback over a NEW Watch:
"Watch not working, second hand dropped off. Obviously new the item was broken."

There used to be a Metal Epoxy, much better than the normal stuff. I stuck a quick release on a tripod 30 years ago and it's still going strong. Had 6x6 cameras and all sorts on it A friend of mine who is a mechanic even used it on car engines.... repairing heat exchangers etc.

The Yongnuo triggers are excellent. I've got two sets of the RF-602 which can also be used as a flash trigger therefore a better buy. Review link

The 80-320mm shouldn't be soft at 320mm. When AP tested it (15th November 1997) it was very rare in that it was as sharp at the long end and the short end and centre and edge were also very nearly the same. It reached 120 lpmm which is very rare for a zoom and was rated Excellent for IQ and overall. Some of them do get a bit wobbly though when fully extended.

Some shots on this thread were taken with it. Search same forum for Bejersey

It's probably camera shake. Most people claim their x-300+ zooms are soft at the far end and it's usually the same reason..... camera shake. You also need to use about f/8-11 for maximum sharpness.
