Chinon lenses never did very well in magazine tests. They are probably similar to Ricoh's being made by the same maker, but were a lot cheaper to buy, so probably cheaper made as well.

Most people who had Chinon camera's in the 70's/80's swapped the lenses for proper Pentax ones

The only Chinon worth having is the f/1.2 which was a rebadged Tominon expect to pay £300+

Excellent, good composition and I really like the colours. I also like the borders.

Or the Logitech Trackman Wheel Mouse which has the ball on the left so you move ball with thumb - rest of "mouse" is operated by your fingers as normal. Great also if you have tendency towards carpal, as your wrist never has to move. Easy to adapt to.

I've never seen that one? I also have the Logitech Cordless Optical TrackMan that I use with my laptop because it's cordless. Not as good as the marble mouse the fingers still work the ball, but the thumb does most of the buttons apart from the right button. It does have a wheel. The marble mouse can be used as a wheel if you click right and left buttons at the same time. link

it247 have quite a lot of Logitech mice/trackballs.

The Logitech Marble Trackball is superb. I would never go back to the old type of mouse. I have 3 of them. link on ebay

You move the ball with the first and second finger and click with the thumb. The third finger operates the mouse right click on the right hand button.

Edit: This one has a video. (also ebay, but I wouldn't buy a SH mouse).

Nice shot and I like it central, he's actually travelling downwards as well as forwards.

When AP tested this lens they found it sharper at the 150mm end than the 75mm end. They did notice however that they thought it had been designed with portraits in mind and had been designed at the long end to be on the soft side until f/5.6 or so. It might just have been their lens, but I would do some tests at 150mm from f/4 to f/11 just to see how it actually performs.

I just use this very simple free site that someone recently told me about. Saves all the messing about with Flickr and Photobucket. Just in case it's not meant for photography forums I'll keep it a bit low

httXXp://upXXpix.net/ (Remove the XX's to use).

Registration is fairly simple just user name and password no email asked for.

Just upload 800 wide pics.

Just put some Blu-Tak on it Matt and then turn upside down on a table and unscrew.
