You won't get 20MB/s with cheap readers, some struggle to get 4MB/s
The Lexar is available direct from the 7Day Shop or via Amazon £19.25 post free link
Read the reviews!

Better than MS's own Robocopy.
Can be run from a batch file with whatever parameters you want.
XXCOPY C: J: /CLONE
Clones Drive C: to Drive J: updating any files that need updating.
Very fast after you've done the first BUP.
XXCOPY "Chotographs" "Jhotographs" /CLONE
Should work as well.
I've not used the latest version. It's still free.

I also use CopySync Desktop but it doesn't seem to be
available anymore.

anything and the 'A' 50mm f/1.4 lens underexposes at f/1.4 by
about 2/3 stop. Seems OK at f/2.0 This is using Av program.
Quite a simple test in the end. Just set Av take shot.
Adjust aperture by 1/3rd stop. Take another until you
get to f/4
Look at the pics on a lightable type viewer. Do screen capture and
import into editor read off values. You can see it anyway.
My RGB values were from f1.4 (topline)
117 = f/1.4
124
130
138 = f/2.0 = overexposed by 1/3rd stop
140
135
133 = f/2.8
130
129
128 = f/4
I used Expodisc and it was within 0.1 stops according to the LV's in
the Exif data for matrix metering.
I couldn't understand why the EV value for the meter off the
Exif was a constant 6.5 right through. Then I remembered it
meters around the mirror area.
Edit: Conclusion not much point in f/1.4 lenses the
exposure is almost the same as if you use f/2

It should be easy enough to check with a handheld meter against
the camera in Av mode and an Expodisc or grey card.
Meter the card with hand held or film camera set to 100ISO. Get the exposure time for f/1.2 or f/1.4
Set camera to allow 1/3rd stops on speed. Set speed to time above.
Fire off one shot of card and say 3 more reducing speed by 1/3rd stop for each.
Set Camera to Av and lens still wide open. Fire off shot of card.
Set Camera to Manual. Press Green Button. Take another shot just to see if Av and Manual give the same speed.
Look at the shots on a computer with PS or other editor using colour picker. Check the RGB values of the Av and Manual shots. See if they are the same. Should be about 118R 118G 118B
Look at the first shots and see which one is the same as the Av and Manual shots. If it's the 1st no problems. 2nd = 1/3rd under. 3rd = 2/3 under
4th = Buy a Canon EOS5D
I've only written this down very quickly. It may have to be tweaked at the time of the test.
The Exif data also contains meter readings which may be helpful to see whats happening.
What it means in practical terms is that an f/1.4 lens is probably nearer to f/2 wide open.
It should also show up on a sequence of shots taken in Av mode starting wide open and then closing down in 1/3rd or 1/2 stops and letting the camera set a new speed each time. Every shot should be about 118R 118G 118B. If it is being compensated the first 3 or 4 should be different. I'd have to try that one and see. The Expodisc in this instance would be more accurate than a grey card.

f/2.8 lens would cause the same light loss? The graph
seems to indicate that it doesn't?
Because the loss varies from 0.25 to 0.8 EV on different
cameras I can't understand why he's mentioning T Stops,
which give the EXACT light transmission of a lens and
is not something that varies. It's probably very close to
the F Stop anyway. The problem lies with the camera, if they
were all made as the Canon EOS 5D the loss would only be
0.25 EV.
It should be easy enough to check with a handheld meter against
the camera in Av mode and an Expodisc or grey card.

The shape is made by sprung wires, not that easy to dismantle.
The diam. of a Monolite is 160mm and the box has 4 big thumbscrews to clamp onto it.

Stitz brackets are very good link but not at £25 should be available for a fiver. No swivel, but have a co-ax lead and hotshoe also a secure hand grip.
