Have fun with it when the battery is charged. Meanwhile read that handbook .

I have a battery I intend to charge on Sunday in anticipation.
It fits my multi battery charger .

It's a very small Handbook - meaning A6 in size - Just about 1000 pages though

I shall have to tell my other half that mine is in the post. I didn't see him yesterday to tell him.

Funnily enough he hasn't (yet) asked how much it is.
Too late now .

I fear my plans to sell the K10&20D to fund a K5 have been scuppered by the wife, who would like a new wood floor in the hallway and some new laminate down in the small bedroom

I'm just glad I didn't sell either, or the proceeds would have ended up under my feet

The green light goes off when its charged – green means it is still charging.

Luckily I had a pre-charged battery from my K-7, the battery that shipped with the K-5 took about 4 hours to charge.

But all the same - OMG OMG it's so much faster then the K20D I am blown away already. Just took a few indoor snaps with my 50mm 1.4 and even pointing into a dark corner and inducing 3600iso click bang and can't see the noise.
