It then depends on the market if they come down or not.

It takes 50 hours for staff to change all the clocks in Buckingham Palace

It's not just the fact that the clocks alter - it's the going round the house changing them all - the Microwave , the new cooker - the chiming clock ALL the time switches
ARGH - it drives me crazy

Quick test on a K20D indicates that Pentax haven't adjusted
anything and the 'A' 50mm f/1.4 lens underexposes at f/1.4 by
about 2/3 stop. Seems OK at f/2.0 This is using Av program.
1/3 and 2/3 stop.
I carried out the same test with my A 50mm f/1.7 and that seems consistent at all apertures from f/1.7 upwards. Strangely this lens overexposes by about 1/3rd stop. Could possibly be ignored as long as there aren't any white highlights.
This pic shows the difference in exposure between the two lenses at f/4 The central rectangle is from the f/1.7 and the main rectangle from the f/1.4
The camera was in Av mode and the exposure for both shots was 1/23.3 secs. at f/4.0
From these results I can't see any point in having a 50mm f/1.4 lens
The f/1.7 actually gets more light on the sensor. 1/2 to 2/3 stop
more in this instance.
Because I've only tested two lenses with one camera I have no way of knowing if other camera/lens combinations will be the same. It's such a quick and simple test I would suggest that it's done for every lens and camera.
