Well as you have to have a unique name the chance of being able to get "magazine publishing ltd" spelt korectly iz approximatly (sic.) zero. Especially as that name was taken in 1981 according to companies house...
I remember reading about a CXompany that tried to be clever with upper/lowercase letters in their name and they got so pissed off that no one typed it correctly on letters that they sent to them that they sent out printed instructions to tell the typists how to type the name correctly. Obviously no one took a blind bit of notice

No exact results found for "magezine" in the Oxford Dictionary.

Did you mean magazine?

Did you mean magazines?

Did you mean magen?

Did you mean massine?

Did you mean mazzini?

Looks good but expensive and I'm sure you would get sick of having
what is basically a macro rail attached all the time. I use a 3 way
Gitzo really good and a Slik AF2100 which I only bought last year.
Should have bought it 20 years ago..... Brilliant!

I've got a Pentax and a Novoflex macro rail for when I want to do things
like they show that Induro doing.

Actually, I think the spelling is done on purpose, it being an e(lectronic maga)zine. Hence, MageZine.
No one would know that and would assume that the programmer couldn't spell or is it eSpell

there's a new version of the product out each year on the AV market - it gets lighter and smarter each time...

Since when? AV products are pure bloatware. Norton got such a bad name for it they had to go back to basics and release a lighter faster version.

I'm with Virgin Broadband and they supply PCguard free for 3 machines.
They updated some time back and my PC slowed right down, so I restored an Acronis image prior to the update and I was up to speed again.

Unfortunately (unlike Norton) the db files no longer work with the
old version. I'm with Barclays so I might as well get a Free 12 month
trial of Kaspersky off them.

I usually donate about £1 year to Spybot - Search & Destroy its
downloaded from mirrors and this site alone has had 84,087,614
downloads and if everyone donated £1 they would have had £84M.
So I can imagine how nice it is selling annual AV licences, no
wonder so many companies jump in with the free stuff. Only about
2 years ago they were trying to charge £60 year per PC but the
public wouldn't wear it.

Very shortly in your line of business your going to have to pay
something like £3500 year to use the H264 codec and I have read
that most Apple software only covers amateur use only

Sounds busy I remembered after the previous post XP Pro
always covered 2 or 3 CPU's you couldn't buy a single PC version

With all software if there's only 1 user they should let you install
it on as many PC's as you want. I think QPro did that when they ran
Lotus 123 out of town.

I nearly bought Kaspersky today when I saw it covered several
PC's.... I backed off when I saw it was only for 1 year, which
is a pure ripoff. They have to keep their db's up to date for
new s/w sales so charging again in 12 months just for the DL'ds
is money for old rope. Customers supply them with all the infected
files anyway.

I think MS originally did a 3 PC license on W7 but it was too
popular so they stopped it

Someone needs to develop a dust catcher that sits near your sensor catching any stray particles that wander by, a bit like a piece of fly paper. Or a piece of statically charged something or other. Oh what a utopia that would be.
That just reminded me I bought one of these in a DIY store about 15 years ago and I was truly ASTONISHED!! I would even go so far as to say I was AMAZED!! you just touched dust on furniture with it and the dust shot off as though it was afraid. They are describing it as a magnet, but it repels not attracts. Not sure if it's still the same and it would be awkward getting it in the mirror box

Edit: Just ordered one to see if they are still as good as they used to be
