It seems to be focused on the centre of the feeder, it wouldprobably be
better focused on the back of it?
This is perfect for Eye-Fi so that you can watch the shots from a distance
as soon as they are taken.

I use a Rotel RA-01 amp with it, probably about 8 years old. They
work well together.

The 4m focus isn't usually a problem, you'd be lucky to get that close to a bird anyway.

You can focus a lot closer with a small 6-12mm extension tube.
Never any any PF problems on a K20D.

I had a look through it in Tesco's today and one of the readers letters listed about five major manufactures from about twenty years ago. After Pentax it had something like (sadly no longer with us)???????? Who the hell proof reads and selects the letters for inclusion in AP?

They used to be better, they repelled the dust, but the latest ones attract it and the dust comes out when you give it a good shake outside.
