Very interesting video as usual Pete. Top quality presentation. TV presenters need to watch how it's done by a master.

Different flange focal distance than Pentax.... so it won't fit. A glass element could be incorporated, but would ruin the image quality plus Nikons can't extract all the magic image properties the way Pentax can. So buy Pentax every time

You can post large sizes here if it's done by a link to an external site such as Flickr. When clicked it opens as the large size on Flickr see LennyBloke's posts....

I always use the earlier model smc PENTAX-FA 50mm f/2.8 macro as my main lens... if it suits the shot. Works well at f/2.8 and is sharper at every aperture than all the other lenses except the new expensive 50mm f1.4..... but that can't do 1:1 and I haven't got one.

Yoshihiko's old film tests......

The A series lens is also very nice to use...... but not the same lens and only goes to half life size.

Took my breath away ...... I can't speak! What a place. Unbelievable that they would build such a bridge away from a busy road. Could have belonged to a big landowner or royalty. Great photo even captured the magic

An easy way to view any large photo as STEREO is to go fairly close..... hold your left hand cupped over your open left eye and the right eye supplies the image the brain should fill in missing stereo details.

The photo is not 3D just normal and usually colour. Try switching eyes if it doesn't work. Won't work if you haven't got a brain.

It does sound like some thing is set to change the default.

The Pentax software can handle PEF and save if not as DNG then TIF.

The Adobe DNG Converter, a free utility that converts files from more than 600 cameras to DNG, enables you to easily convert camera-specific raw files to a more universal DNG raw file. 418MB download.
