I have taken one or two shots where I did wonder if the sensor wasn't square, and thought perhaps there are occasions when the sensor doesn't sit 'square' after its been moved by the Shake Reduction?

Have you tried Mathers - they list it on their site at £299?

Have downloaded a trial version PSPX2 - and have to say it thankfully seems faster than previous versions (last trialled version X I think and it was painfully slow on my machine).

I do like the HDR tool - very quick and easy to get acceptable results. As I can upgrade rel cheaply from a previous version (7), I might just do that!

Also ACDSee Pro (the latest beta version) does batch rename and is pretty darn quick. I just find its rendering of RAW files a bit over saturated

WOW

Thanks for the link Prieni. Amazing work, and an uncomfortable message to go with it!

Thanks for the link, Matt.
Followed the link through and went to copy a version to my PC, and then discovered I had already downloaded it sometime ago and forgotten about it.

Must read it now, and see how the techniques apply to using Pic Window Pro (the programme this weeks Amateur Photographer has reviewed)

For instance when applying sharpening to an image you should ALWAYS view the image a 100%, not less or not more, your sharpening may look horendous when the image is displayed in a window half the size of your screen but when viewed at 100% it may very well be the the just the ticket.
Thanks for that McBrian - had never taken that on board before. Means I can probably sharpen more than I do when wanting to print!
