...or possibly the Eclips fluid used for sensor cleaning - the original version (ok for *istD ect, but not K10D) is also ok for lens cleaning

I am no expert - but I vaguely remember something about pentax K mount lenses but made for Ricoh cameras. There is a problem with them as although they also a re K mount, their contacts are different. i am not sure tht would physically stop you being able to fit it - but damage could occur.

Sorry that's not very clear!

Slight deviation on topic:
I don't have any of these fancy P-TTL flash guns (yet!), but is it right that they flash guns can be used in tandem - ie wirelessly as master and slave etc?
And can one mix the makes - so put a metz with a sigma or with a pentax? And up to how many at one time?

Thanks
Andy

A very interesting effect - I did something years ago with some black paper, but as it was in 'good old folm days', I only shot a couple of piccies. A technique worth trying again sometime...

Thanks for posting

On the other hand, I also use ACDSee Pro. The images look consistent to PhotoShop when color management is DISABLED.
And re the other comment about ACDSee looking worst until you turn colour management off.

I, too, have ACDSee Pro2 - a great programme BUT do agree with you! I leave colour mangament turned off, otherwise everything is rendered too saturated (toward red?). Perhaps a question on ACDSee forum is needed?

I don't claim to have sussed this arae at all, so was heartened to hear someone else thinking the same as me

...and do you find yourself glancing at the screen that's not on the back after you take a shot?

...and do you half press the shutter and wait for the camera to focus? I do

Just flagging up interest in this. I live South West London area (Morden/ Sutton). Where do you live, Chris?

What about the Surrey Hills? easily accessible of the M25 - places like Boxhill/ Ranmore Common etc? Possible need to wait until the leaves grow back though!

I am quite impressed with ACDSee - their latest Pro2 has just been released and supports K10D (not sure about the K100D super), and is very quick. You can add keywords, categories, captions and notes, a 1 to 5 rating, tagging and allows you to play with IPTC data as well.

It also costs a great deal less than Lightroom. I was fortunate enough to get a free Lightroom as I had RSP. ACDSEe is faster at sorting and adding keywords etc, but I feel Lightroom gives a better RAW conversion etc

hope this helps
