I was very pleased overall. I've actually got a set of tubes i picked up a couple of years ago. Haven't dug them out yet and not sure whether they are manual or auto. I've a feeling they are manual, but even so should allow some extra experimentation. I'll play around though with the basic lens for a while and then i'll introduce each of the three tubes seperately maybe with a month in between...that way it'll be like having a new lens three times over and it'll spread the excitement/anticipation over a longer period! I'll be positively ecstatic when it comes to combining all three

Went out for a couple of hours on Sunday...first proper outing with this macro lens...was interested to see how it would perform as a general walkabout/close-up, all handheld as it was too cold to be standing around with a tripod...i'll wait for the spring to do that.

Really good those. I don't see how you could have got better images from using Canikon alternatives.

Boxing is a very fast sport, i'd say your combo handled it very well. As Chris said above, your anticipation of the action is spot on.

Apparently the Full Moon this weekend will be about 16500 miles closer to Earth than normal, appear about 7% larger and about 16% brighter.

For those with clear skies it could offer some good photo opportunities.

I noticed one of these in what was described as vgc complete with case went for about £200 a couple of weeks ago on EBAY...so, NEW or not more than 6x that price is
steep to say the least.

I particularly like No.2...fantastic sky and the simplicity of No.14.

I think some of the others would be more impressive if viewed larger...beyond the scope of the default settings I know .
