the local paper asked me to cover a local amateur boxing night, I ended up getting a double page spread published.

Absolutely fabulous.....!! surprised the K3 could focus quickly enough...! Just love 4, 10 and 13. But they all deserve applause.. So very well done.

Really good those. I don't see how you could have got better images from using Canikon alternatives.

Boxing is a very fast sport, i'd say your combo handled it very well. As Chris said above, your anticipation of the action is spot on.

Great action, good technique - a very fine example of action photography using non-Canon/Nikon gear.

Thanks for the comments, I did have a practice at a charity boxing event a couple of weeks before.
Always helps when you know what to expect.
Settings were TAV ISO100-6400 F2.8 1/500thsec
