Congratulations Nigel...great pic.

A face that looks 'well-lived in'.

Figures for 9 months just gone...overall profit margins down substantially from 12 months previously...this despite a major cost cutting exercise.

Smart Vision operating division which includes both Pentax and Ricoh cameras (and lenses too ?) performed very poorly...overall sales down from £128M to £95.5M.

Can't say i'm at all surprised but very sad nonetheless.

This year will probably decide the future of the camera division one way or the other.

Figures on Pentaxrumors just below the K3II news.

According to a piece from pentaxrumors who are usually very reliable.

Hopefully means that the upgraded model is waiting in the wings...either that or the upgrade was in fact the KP.

Some excellent shots there guys. My favourite has to be the one with the Clangers who had climbed up from the Dark Side as we hardly ever get to see them.

Subjectively Philip's definitely the sharpest on my monitor. I went out to try a few but moon was behind clouds, went in for my tea then got side-tracked watching some Tv including the one hour 'Moon Special' . Next thing I knew, it was heavy wind blown rain against the windows.

23:34 Just seen your shot Mike...Superb.

Cheers Derek.

Park don't have them in stock apparently but can get them at a few days notice so there must be a Ricoh supplied distributor supplying them at £900-£1000+VAT (educated guess). Ricoh reckon that these lenses are normally 'worth' c £1900 or so going off the 'normal' price most of the year.

Great price for anyone who can afford this lens...does beg the question though why Ricoh think they can overcharge you by another £600-£700 for most of the year.

Thanks Maria. I love them as well...have to say this is really impressive, the detail and accuracy he's tried to achieve are exemplary.

Next time I go round i'll use my 100mm macro !

Love No.2 as well although guy behind her looks like he is using a urinal! Also really like the atmosphere created by No.6

Some shots of a model recreation of the village of Nelson in South Wales where my mothers partner grew up in the late 1930s- early 1950s. Really impressive to see, the creation is about 8-9' long and about 2' wide.

Didn't go with the intention of taking these shots...all handheld using 18-55WR kit lens on my K-50.
