Well that puts paid to me trying to sell my Silver MIJ version for £429
Sorry about that...

There is always a downside to a massive drop (albeit temporary) on new for anyone trying to sell theirs.

Have to say though i'm surprised SRS aren't getting onboard with these offers...that's twice Park have done this in past few weeks.

You've certainly captured a different perspective on the comings and goings there Spad.

Nice to see a different focal range in use to what one would expect.

It was good for capturing some nice skies as well which I think look better than a plain blue sky.

I've been following this development for the past couple of days.

Personally I can't say i've ever noticed any PF on my copy...will reserve judgement on it until I've read the reviews but wonder just how much optical improvement there could be given that the form factor remains the same.

I hope its not more of an exercise in profit gouging.

On a more positive note i'm eagerly awaiting the new 70-300...would be nice to see that out before Christmas.

Agree with comments above...very impressive start Spad.

Its nice to have the ability to be able to create a black background on occasion though.

My standout shot is the spider on the web...really good and like the composition.

Also like the second shot of the bee covered in pollen...very detailed as you say.

I've always enjoyed playing around with macro...very satisfying when you produce exactly what you intended or sometimes even when you capture an image in a totally unexpected way.

Have fun experimenting.

Very nice trio as said already.

No.3 is my favourite as well.

Like the 4-way colour split along the horizontal and in particular the muted yellow/red bands in centre.

Due largely to the 'donut' bokeh i'd guess a mirror lens...maybe the Pentax SMC 400-600 f/8-f/12 ?
