Not bad at all for a 50mm.assume it must be heavily cropped...either that or you operated in Ninja mode!

Spring definitely on the way early again...like last few years.

Crocuses have started to appear, Bluebell shoots are 7-8" high and a Pipistrelle bat was flying round my garden late afternoon about 5pm ...seemed almost as surprised to see me sat in the garden as I was it...flew to within a couple of yards of me several times

Excellent price for a superb camera.

I've got one in the same condition with the same issue but am happy using mine as a backup in pure manual mode...as you say too good to bin.

I've just looked now...won't allow any attempt to put one in 'basket'...either Mike's 'purchase' is blocking or someone has bought it.

Cracking price again though.

I've always thought of Pentax UK and SRS in the same breath but increasingly find i'm following Park Cameras to see what their next absolute Pentax bargain might be.

Appreciate that Park might only be offering a 1 year warranty but i'd like the opportunity of opting for that if the price reduction was attractive enough.

Could do with a 35mm f2.8 macro appearing for £399...preferably in black please...

Quite good those Spad...my favourite image would be the second one...Deep Sky Stacker...looks like a purple heart...(wonders) is that where the Americans got the idea
from for the naming of their military decoration...

Have to say, I think the Topaz AI edit by davidwozhere is superb...can even appreciate the difference on my basic monitor.

One of the few occasions when the before and after really live up to the marketing claims on these type of software products.

The two of you ought to get together and approach Topaz with a view to selling the images to them for their own marketing !

Tracking is only really needed at very high magnification when shooting the moon. You can get just as good images without it, as long as you don't go right in. Stacking 40 or 50 images shot with a 400 or 500mm lens then crop will give you much better results.

I should point out my monitor is a 52in TV
That explains a lot...i'm using a 22" NEC monitor...not even full HD!
